Today I had a fortuitous conversation with L during which it came up that she was meeting me in Berlin May 11-14 and I was meeting her in Berlin June 11-14.

Upsides:

• No conflict with the Z's wedding.
• I'm not teaching this semester so no one cares when I'm not around.
• I'll miss a meeting.
• Sooner QT with L!! Yay!!
• Sooner return-shopping at those 2 stores I didn't have enough space for in my bag last trip.

Downsides:

• OK, well, train tickets are probably going to be hella expensiver, since it's only a few days away. Oh well.
